Submissions Open for Open-Call and Special Issue 2026!
2025-10-19Every year, YU-WRITE showcases a range of work from Graduate Students and recent Alumni. The Open-Call has no specific theme in education as we want to highlight as much work from graduate students in education. Education is a broad term and does not always mean the “brick-and-mortar” school, but rather education as a philosophy or something we learn with or from. This year, we are excited to be including an Open- Call for a Special Issue on Black Mothers Writing in Canada and Beyond with Dr. Stephanie Fearon!

The conference allows graduate students (Master and PhD) to present their creative and scholarly works in a collaborative, professional, and welcoming environment.
